The purpose and goals of the NPBC are implemented through its Parent Body Officers, Congress of Christian Education, Women’s Auxiliary (which includes the Young Women/Young Matrons), Laymen Auxiliary, Youth Department and member churches. Reverend Richmond A. Johnson is the current President of the North Pacific Baptist Convention.
The North Pacific Baptist Convention (NPBC) is committed to building God’s Kingdom, according to God’s Will, through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit by enabling NPBC churches to endure and be a contributing member of a stable Christian fellowship. The convention's membership consists of twenty-six churches located in the Pacific Northwest (Washington and Oregon).
The Convention is affiliated with the National Baptist Convention USA Incorporated which was founded in 1886 and is the nation's oldest and largest African American religious convention with an estimated membership of 7.5 million.
